# Fees and Referrals

### Platform fee

The platform fee is 1% of confirmed trade value. Collection happens asynchronously after the original trade confirms.

For buys, the fee basis is ETH input. For sells, the basis is actual ETH output.

Gas, DEX pool fees, slippage, and token taxes are excluded.

### Referrals

Referred users receive a 10% platform-fee discount for 30 days. Inviters accrue 25% of the fee actually collected after that discount.

Referral withdrawals are not yet enabled.

### Fee custody and rollout

A dedicated encrypted platform-fee custody wallet is the only fee destination. It will also be the future payout sender.

Fee collection first validates on the designated learning wallet. After the first fee collection confirms on-chain, collection expands automatically to all custody wallets.
